  • Travelers need to arrive in Winnipeg and spend the night there the day before our trip begins.

  • Flights from Winnipeg to Churchill and back
  • Helicopter travel from Churchill to remote safari camp & return
  • Churchill area wildlife/bear and belugas viewing, 3 full day and 1 half day (2x beluga boat tour, 1x tundra buggy tour and 4x4 vehicle)
  • Fireweed polar bear viewing, 4 full day and 2 half day*
  • 4 nights Churchill accommodation with shared washrooms (double occupancy) 
  • 5 nights on floating lodge camp (double occupancy with shared washrooms)

Deposit:

  • USD$7000 per person (no single occupancy)

​Price not include:

  • Alcohol drinks
  • For trip plan A, Meals while in Churchill, BnB has Kitchen or enjoy the town restaurants.
  • ​Gratuities for guides (recommend $25/day).
  • Travel and cancellation insurance (Strongly Recommend).

Important notes :

  • *The itinerary may be subject to change based on weather, wildlife habits, etc.​
  • If the tour is forced to be postponed due to irresistible factors such as local natural disasters or disease epidemics, we can discuss changing to other itineraries where our company still has space.
  • Full payment is due 100 days prior to departure.

Cancellation policies :

  • Deposit is non-refundable.
  • If cancellation is made after 100 days prior to departure, Image1 Adventure will try our best to find another participant to take your spot. If another participant is found, full refund less the deposit and $150 administration charge will be granted.
  • If Image1 Adventure cannot find another participant, no refund will be granted.
  • If you can find another participant to take your spot, the payment made is refundable or transferrable to the other participant, less $150 administration fee.

Itinerary

Date: July 27-August 5, 2026

Important information: 

  • Travelers need to arrive in Winnipeg and spend the night there the day before our trip begins.


Plan A:  Day1 (July 27)

  • Flight from Winnipeg to Churchill.  
  • Group welcome orientation, discussions about camera setting and tips 
  • Afternoon we will head out to the best spots to look for wildlife.
  • Overnight in Churchill


Plan A:  Day 2,3 and 4 (July 28-30)

  • After breakfast, we head out with 4x4 vehicle or on the boat.
  • With years of experience on the river, we take you to the best places to see belugas. 
  • Many other wildlife you may spot includes bald eagle, gyrfalcon, arctic tern, Loons, sandhill crane, ptarmigan, fox and caribou.
  • When we see polar bears, we will be able to get out of our vehicle for a better view and photography angle, while following the instruction of our guide at all times. 
  • Ithaka shipwreck hiking tour when low tide.
  • 1 day tundra buggy tour
  • Back to Churchill town for lunch break.


Plan A:  Day 5 (July 31)

Plan B:  Day 1

  • Plan A: In the morning, relaxing free time to walk around town and stores 
  • Plan B: Flight from Winnipeg to Churchill.  
  • Afternoon Flight out to the outpost in Hudson Bay. 
  • Tundra hiking look for polar bears if time permits. 
  • Accommodation: floating lodge camp


Plan A:  Day 6 to 9 (August 1-4)

Plan B:  Day 2 to 5

  • We spend 4 full days photographing polar bears surrounded by fireweed.
  • you'll have the chance to observe these magnificent creatures up close. 
  • Accommodation: floating lodge camp


Plan A: Day 10 (August 5)

Plan B:  Day 6

  • Last morning exploring the area look for bears.
  • Flight back from the outpost to Churchill town and then back to Winnipeg. 

Activity Level: Moderate

Hikes require good leg mobility and balance.  , as well as consideration for carrying photography equipment.   

Travel insurance

The fees listed above do not include travel and cancellation insurance. We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. 

​Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. In addition, you should be aware that some medical insurance policies do not cover your expenses, including medical evacuation while travelling in a foreign country. We will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation, and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveler. 

Clothing and carrying supplies suggestions​

Temperatures range from 20C to 10C during this time.  


  • Windproof rain Jacket

  • Coffee mug / Water Bottle
  • Pack bug repellant


In addition to the required changes of underwear/socks, please do not bring too many duplicate or similar outerwear.

Photography equipment recommendations

  • Camera , 200-600mm, mono-pod or tripod, spare battery and lots of memory cards.  
  • Waterproof compact action camera (GoPro/DJI Action/Insta360)

 ** Carry important photography equipment as much as possible. Remember that the carry-on luggage should not exceed 7 kilograms, and tripods cannot be placed in carry-on luggage.  

Accommodation

  • Churchill Town BnB or Inn.
  • Our floating lodge can accommodate up to a maximum of 8 guests and 3 staff and includes: six bedrooms, kitchen, fridge, 2 lounges, 2 couches, toilet, sink and shower.  (no single occupancy).
