Join Photographer Andy Wang for an incredible opportunity to photograph the amazing Alaska Brown Bears during the spawning salmon season:

We stay in the heart of magnificent Katmai Wilderness for incredible 4 days brown bear photo shooting, including the World’s famous bear viewing at Brooks Falls during the salmon season.
Special arrangement for a ½ day guided river walk in the Brooks River for close photo opportunities of the brown bears.
One day Walrus viewing by float plane to a remote beach where Walruses haul out.
Two day Helicopter glacier adventures
Stay at the top featured hotels in Anchorage and King Salmon.
Andy Wang, our lead wildlife photographer, will be on your side during the entire tour. While some tour companies offer only sightseeing, we provide photography workshops during the tour
to discuss and share photography experiences.
Limited small group size.
Tour is not limited to photographers.

Complete Itinerary:

Day 1

Fly to Anchorage. The expedition leader will help you to check in at Anchorage
Welcome dinner at night to learn about the exciting trip hosted by the expedition leader.

Day 2

Anchorage ~ King Salmon
Full-day Walrus viewing by float plane to a remote beach where Walruses haul out.
Stay at King Salmon Lodge
We will have photography workshops in or after dinner to share his photography experiences.

Day 3-6

4 Full-day brown bear expedition in Katmai National Park and Brooks Falls.
One ½ day guided river walk in the Brooks River for close photo opportunity of the brown bears.
Optional "Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes" bus tour.

Day 7-8

Helicopter glacier adventures
Fly by helicopter to awarded Natural Landmark status for its scenic beauty: Lake George.
We will fly high above to an alpine meadow where you will have a unique birds eye view of the massive Knik glacier below
There is a good chance we’ll see bears foraging along the hillsides during the flight. We almost always see moose and Dall sheep.
The deep blue ice, flying to the middle of the Knik Glacier and landing at the azure colored melt pools.
Exhilarating dogsled ride across the snow field amid towering peaks. mountains.
Hiking photo expedition, There are dozens of incredible high-alpine landing locations ideally suited for photographers. Most of the alpine locations provide a view of at least one glacier, sometimes two or three! also watch out for wildlife.

Day 9

Anchorage ~ Seattle or Back Home
With a full memory of brown bears, we hope to travel with you again in the near future.

Insurance:

We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. In addition, you should be aware that some medical insurance policies do not cover your expenses, including medical evacuation while travelling in a foreign country. Insurance is 100% non-refundable. We will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation, and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveler.

Cancellation policies:

For cancellations due to any other reasons for this trip only:

Deposit is non-refundable.
If cancellation is made after 100 days prior to departure, Image1 Adventure will try our best to find another participant to take your spot. If another participant is found, full refund less the deposit of $4,500 USD and $150 administration charge will be granted. If Image1 Adventure cannot find another participant, no refund will be granted.
If you can find another participant to take your spot, the payment made is refundable or transferrable to the other participant, less $150 administration fee.
