​Itinerary

July 20

• Flight to St. John
• Tour starts late afternoon: Jelly Bean Houses, Quidi Vidi, etc...
• Photograph the first sunrise at the Signal Hill National Historic Site
• Overnight St. John

July 21

• Photograph the first sunrise at the most north-easterly point in North America: Cape Spear Lighthouse.
• Photograph Puffin and whale viewing on boat tour
• Night stay at Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve area

July 22

• During the morning we will visit breath-taking Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve. The steep cliffs here are home to one of the largest colonies of Northern Gannet in North America and thousands of other seabirds, including the worlds southernmost breeding Thick-billed Murres. The area offers spectacular scenery and very close views of the gannet colony, allowing for excellent photographic opportunities.
• Then on-route to Trinity area, overnight @ Bonavista

July 23

• Dungeon Road Beach​ for sunrise.
• Bonavista area Puffin viewing, etc,
• Overnight @ Bonavista

July 24

• Photograph Puffin when sunrise
• heading to Trinity area sightseeing, whale and Puffin Zodiac Boat tour, then drive back to St. Johns
• Overnight @ St. Johns

​July 25

• Morning after breakfast, sightseeing tour if time permits.
• We say goodbye and hope to meet again in the near future.
• Flight back HOME

Activity Level:

Rated Easy, but moderate activity including medium distances to walk and some steps. ​​

Clothing recommendations:​​​

• Temperatures range from 10C to 20C during this time.
• Water-repellent jacket or windbreaker.
  
• Water-repellent hiking boots.​​​

​Photography equipment recommendation

• Camera , 400-600mm lens, Wide-angle lens, mono-pod,  tripod, Bean bag, spare battery and lots of memory cards.

** Carry important photographic equipment as much as you can, and remember that your hand baggage should not exceed 7 kg, and the tripod cannot be carried in hand luggage.

• Alcoholic drinks, non-meal time drinks or snacks
• Gratuities for tour guide (not required but recommended $20-25 per day)

Cancellation policies:

• Deposit is non-refundable.
• If cancellation is made after 100 days prior to departure, Image1 Adventure will try our best to find another participant to take your spot. If another participant is found, full refund less the deposit of $1,500 and $150 administration charge will be granted. If Image1 Adventure cannot find another participant, no refund will be granted.
• If you can find another participant to take your spot, the payment made is refundable or transferrable to the other participant, less $150 administration fee.
