Itinerary:

Day 1

Upon arriving in Quebec city.
we will meet with you in the airport and help you to check-in our accommodation. You will meet fellow travelers at an orientation dinner this evening.

Day 2

Visit the historic sites of Old Quebec City
Stay overnight at Old Quebec City

Day 3

Ice hotel tour

Day 4~6

Fly to Madeleine island

Depending on the weather and sea ice conditions, to vising the newborn baby seals. helicopter will landing on sea ice (up to three times).

*Free choice of activities, including:

Ice fishing experience with local fishermen to catch mackerel.
Landscape Photography: Cliffs, Ice Sea Lighthouse, Sandy Hook Beach, and more.
Sunrise and sunset photography.
wildlife walking, which provides wildlife-related commentary, We may see foxes, white hares, and several species of forest birds.

Day 7

Madeleine island, fly back to Quebec City
With a full memory of newborn baby seals, we hope to travel with you again in the near future.

Activity Level:

Rated Easy, but moderate activity including medium distances to walk and some steps.

Insurance:

We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. Many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, so we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. We will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation, and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveler.

Clothing recommendations:

Temperatures range from -5C to -20C during this time. Insulated boots, warm winter coat, insulated pants to wear over your inside pants, large warm mitts, thin gloves you can use camera bottoms with, warm hats, warm socks and sunglasses

DSLR or Mirrorless camera,
Equivalent to 24mm to 200mm focal length lens
Small lightweight tripod
Spare battery
Lots of memory cards.

** Carry important photographic equipment as much as you can, and remember that your hand baggage should not exceed 7 kg, and the tripod cannot be carried in hand luggage.

** No need to worry if you don't have professional camera equipment, We will make online photo albums for everyone to share!

Alcoholic or Snacks.
Flights to and from Quebec.
Gratuities for guides (recommend $20/day).

Cancellation policies:

The hotel and airline all impose strict cancellation policies due to the high demand for services during the season and the difficulty of re-selling space if a late cancellation occurs. All payments that we make to the local tour operator are non-refundable.
In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will not be made and no partial refunds or credits will be given for services not used. We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance.
