​​Trip Highlights

• As we travel through Southern part of Iceland, including Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Thinvellir Nation Park, and Vatnajokull National Park, we spend 6 full days photographing the beautiful landscape Iceland offers. It includes and not limited to Lava Waterfalls, black and red volcanic sand, lava fields, glacier outlets and floating icebergs.
• We will also have great opportunity to photograph some of the unique Iceland wildlife including Icelandic horse and Icelandic sheep.
• We keep lookout for favorable conditions to photograph Northern lights when present.
• Andy Wang, our lead photographer, will be on your side during the entire tour to share his nature and wildlife photography knowledge. While some tour companies offer only sightseeing, we provide photography workshops during the tour to discuss and share photography experiences.
• Limited group size to approximately 8 guests. This ensures that each and every guests get immediate attention, and enough support for photography purposes.
• Tour is not limited to photographers; anyone interested in unique Iceland experience is welcome.

​Accommodation

​Iceland accommodations are all double occupancy, clean, comfortable with private washroom. For most of the nights, we will stay in a remote area accommodation with limited city lights in order for us to have the optimal chances to photograph northern lights. Details on accommodation hotels will be released 30 days prior to the tour.

​​Clothing recommendations:​

The weather in Iceland can be unpredictable and very windy and rainy at times.  Temperatures range from 0°C to 10°C during this time. Insulated hiking shoes, sweater, warm coat, wind waterproof overcoat, insulated pants, warm gloves, thin gloves you can use camera bottoms with, warm hats and warm socks are recommended.

Activity Level: ​​

​Rated Easy, but moderate activity including moderate distance hiking on Glacier. You must be able to hike with carrying your camera gears. This tour is not recommended for people with canes or walkers.

Deposit policy:
​At time of booking: $500 USD per person. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure.

Cancellation policies:
In the event that you must cancel your reservation, refunds will be made according to the following schedule:

Deposit is non-refundable. 90 to 61 days prior to departure, 75% of total invoice is non-refundable. Less than 60 days prior to departure, 100% of the total invoice is non-refundable. No partial refunds or credits will be given for services not used.

Price not include:

• Alcoholic drinks
• ​non-meal time drinks or snacks
• All flights to and from Keflavik International Airport
• Transportation from Keflavik International Airport to Reykjavik hotel on arrival (we can make reservation for you)
• Gratuities for Iceland tour guides and drivers

Insurance:
We strongly recommend trip cancellation and medical evacuation insurance. Because many advance logistical arrangements have been made prior to the operation of these trips, we must strictly adhere to the above cancellation policy. In addition, you should be aware that some medical insurance policies do not cover your expenses, including medical evacuation while travelling in a foreign country. Insurance is 100% non-refundable. Image1 Adventure will not be held responsible for missed connections, incorrect check-in times, improper documentation, and/or lost, stolen or damaged luggage. Any additional expenses caused by late or cancelled transportation carriers will be borne by the traveler.
